Role description
Role: Data Migration – SAP ECC/BODs Expert Start Date: ASAP End Date: 31/01/2027 (likelihood of extensions) Location: Remote Rate: Open to discussion Role Overview We are seeking a Data Migration Analyst / Consultant with strong experience in SAP ECC and SAP BODS to support a large-scale HR systems transformation programme. This role is ideal for a consultant with 2+ years of relevant data migration experience, particularly within HR environments such as SuccessFactors. The successful candidate will support end-to-end data migration activities including extraction, transformation, validation, and load into target systems. Key Responsibilities β€’ Deliver end-to-end data migration activities across SAP ECC and HR platforms β€’ Extract, transform, and load data using ETL tools (SAP BODS preferred) β€’ Perform data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation β€’ Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation β€’ Support testing cycles including SIT and UAT β€’ Work closely with HR, IT, and functional stakeholders β€’ Document data migration processes and technical specifications β€’ Ensure data integrity, compliance, and audit readiness Required Skills & Experience β€’ Minimum 2+ years’ experience in data migration projects β€’ Strong experience with HR systems data migration (e.g., SuccessFactors) β€’ Hands-on experience with ETL tools: SAP BODS (preferred) and DataStage / Informatica (acceptable alternatives) β€’ Strong SQL development and querying capability β€’ Experience working with SAP ECC data structures β€’ Ability to analyse complex datasets and resolve data quality issues
