Role description
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze new source system and identify new data objects, entities, and relationships.
β’ Merge and align new data objects with the existing data model while maintaining consistency.
β’ Design and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for OLTP and OLAP.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture data requirements and translate them into scalable models.
β’ Provide impact analysis and recommendations for incorporating new data sources into existing ecosystems.
β’ Partner with Data engineers, ETL, and BI teams to implement data models and mappings.
β’ Maintain metadata, data dictionary, and lineage documentations.
Required skills & Experience:
β’ Proven experience as a data modeler, Data Architect, or Database designer.
β’ Strong experience in data modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, ER/Studio, Power designer)
β’ Deep understanding of relational dimensional
β’ Strong SQL skills for analysis and validation.
β’ Experience with data warehousing (star/snowflake schema, fact/dimension modelling)
β’ Ability to integrate new data sources into existing data models.
