Role description
Key Responsibilities: β€’ Analyze new source system and identify new data objects, entities, and relationships. β€’ Merge and align new data objects with the existing data model while maintaining consistency. β€’ Design and develop conceptual, logical and physical data models for OLTP and OLAP. β€’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture data requirements and translate them into scalable models. β€’ Provide impact analysis and recommendations for incorporating new data sources into existing ecosystems. β€’ Partner with Data engineers, ETL, and BI teams to implement data models and mappings. β€’ Maintain metadata, data dictionary, and lineage documentations. Required skills & Experience: β€’ Proven experience as a data modeler, Data Architect, or Database designer. β€’ Strong experience in data modeling tools (e.g. Erwin, ER/Studio, Power designer) β€’ Deep understanding of relational dimensional β€’ Strong SQL skills for analysis and validation. β€’ Experience with data warehousing (star/snowflake schema, fact/dimension modelling) β€’ Ability to integrate new data sources into existing data models.
