This role requires expertise in predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis to deliver innovative solutions for effective risk management. The Data Modeler will work closely with risk management, finance, model validation, and technology teams to ensure models comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: β€’ Validate, compile, and analyze retail product datasets for credit risk reporting. β€’ Build dashboards to highlight credit risk drivers and expected credit loss trends. β€’ Apply scorecard models, machine learning, and statistical tools for predictive modeling. β€’ Partner with Retail Risk Management and product teams to support portfolio risk management. β€’ Assist with the validation of internally and externally developed models. β€’ Perform data extraction, manipulation, and analysis for model review. β€’ Document methodologies, analysis, and regulatory compliance processes. β€’ Contribute to model approval processes and ensure adherence to Model Risk Policy. β€’ Provide statistical modeling, segmentation, and decision support for lending units. β€’ Stay up to date with industry trends in credit scoring, risk modeling, and AI/ML applications. Required Experience: β€’ 5+ years of relevant professional experience. β€’ Expertise in predictive modeling, including machine learning algorithms. β€’ Strong background in SAS, Python/R, Scala, Spark, or similar tools for statistical analysis. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related quantitative discipline. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Nice-to-Have Experience: β€’ Proficiency with dashboard-building tools such as Tableau. β€’ Advanced degree (MSc, PhD) in a quantitative field.
