Data Modeller Job Title: Data Modeller Contract Length: 6 Months Location: Central London – 80 Fenchurch Street, London About the Role Data is at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a Business Data Modeller to join the Group Data Architecture team and help drive this vision forward. If you are passionate about data modelling, business insight, and delivering high-quality data solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to make an impact. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business and technical teams to understand operations and IT system requirements. • Develop conceptual and logical data models to support design and development of data solutions. • Produce supporting artefacts such as data glossaries, dictionaries, mapping documents, and reference data specifications. • Ensure smooth handover of models to engineering and development teams. • Maintain existing documentation on data models. • Conribute to the evolution of data modelling standards and best practices. • Promote a strong data culture and encourage adoption of data models. • Support colleagues in developing their data modelling skills. Skills & Experience • Experience as a Business Data Modeller. • Expertise in creating conceptual and logical data models. • Ability to produce glossaries, dictionaries, and data mapping documentation. • Strong business analysis and requirements elicitation skills. • Ability to translate business requirements into structured data models. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Experience analysing current state data structures and supporting physical design of solutions. • Knowledge of data management best practices and Data Product strategies.
