Data Modeler- Only LOCALS

Data Modeler Downtown Dallas, TX - Hybrid - 2 or 3 days a week (Thursday in office) Duration: 24 months (6-month increments) LOCAL candidates Only Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on data modeling experience in enterprise environments. • Expert proficiency with Erwin Data Modeler (version 9.x or higher preferred) – including subject areas, model templates, and DDL generation. • Advanced SQL skills and deep understanding of Oracle (11g/12c/19c/21c) and Microsoft SQL Server (2016+). • Strong command of DDL – creating and modifying tables, indexes, constraints, sequences, synonyms, and materialized views. • Solid grasp of database internals: indexing strategies, partitioning, clustering, and query execution plans. • Experience with data modeling best practices: normalization, denormalization, surrogate keys, slowly changing dimensions (SCD), and data vault (a plus). • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and model comparison/diff tools. • Excellent communication skills – ability to document models clearly and present to technical and non-technical audiences. • Self-Motivated, with an ability to multi-task • Capable of presenting to all levels of audiences • Works well in a team environment • Experience with Hadoop/MongoDB a plus Thanks, Vikas. vikas.adella@veritis.com
