Data Modeler

Job Title: Data Modeler/Analyst Location: Sacramento, CA onsite 2 days/ week (must live within 60 miles of Sacramento) Length: Contract goes until 2027 + ext Pay Rate: $55/hr.-$58/hr. Day to Day We are looking for a Data Modeler/ Data Analyst to work for a leader in the technology consulting space. This person will be responsible for hands on data modeling leveraging the ER/Studio data architect modeling application. This person will need to be able to perform business and systems analysis and documentation, as well as develop conceptual, logical, and physical relational data models for the enterprise data warehouse. Responsibilities will also include the ability to perform data modeling in relational and dimensional models. This person will need exposure to large data warehouse implementation projects, ensuring they can develop and design requirement specifications. The ability to document data flow diagrams in existing and future reports will also be required. Must Haves • 10+ years of experience within the data management space • 5+ years’ experience within database design • 5+ years experience leveraging ER/ Studio data modeling application • 5+ years experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or data researcher • 5+ years experience within data modeling and dimensional data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning • 2+ years experience working on Star, Snowflake, or Hybrid Schemas Plusses • 2+ years experience working on oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) specifically within an OCI environment • Expert level experience with Kimball Dimensional Data Modeling • Expert level experience with Oracle SQL Developer or ER/ Studio Data Architect for Oracle • Ability to develop and perform Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) activities using Oracle tools and PLL SQL/ SQL
