📢 Now Hiring: Data Modeler – SAP Experience | Dallas, TX (Onsite) 📍 Location: Dallas, Texas 🏢 Work Mode: Onsite (Contract, in-office) 📅 Type: Contract to Hire (6 Months to start) 🧠 Experience Level: Senior/Lead (7+ years preferred) 🧩 About the Role: We're seeking an experienced Data Modeler with strong SAP Experience and enterprise data modeling expertise to support our growing data transformation initiatives. You'll design scalable data models across cloud and SAP platforms, enabling strategic data integration across key business domains such as Sales, Finance, Customer, and Supplier. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical data models for platforms like SQL Data Warehouse, Databricks Delta Lakehouse, Spark, or other modern data warehousing technologies. Lead and govern data model design, metadata documentation (business definitions, entity/attribute models), and the construction of database objects. Independently complete conceptual, logical and physical data models for any supported platform, including SQL Data Warehouse, Spark, Data Bricks Delta Lakehouse or other Cloud data warehousing technologies. Governs data design/modelling – documentation of metadata (business definitions Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders to understand domain-specific requirements in areas like Customer, Sales, Finance, and Supplier. Drive reviews of data models, transformation logic, security layers, and integration features across data product development teams. Develop reusable models using cloud-centric, code-first practices and enforce standards for scalability and reuse. Support data lineage tracking, source-to-target mapping (STTM), and data discovery through partnerships with business stewards. Support data profiling, planning, transformation logic, and ETL processes. Maintain and govern SAP data models, including S/4HANA and retail datasets like IRI, Nielsen, etc. ✅ Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong expertise in SAP HANA, including working knowledge of S/4HANA and enterprise data structures. Hands-on experience in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or IDM/ARDM. Proven track record designing models for large datasets in Databricks Lakehouse, Redshift, Snowflake, Synapse, or Teradata. Strong understanding of data domains in CPG, Sales, Finance, Supplier, and Customer data. Experience in version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD deployment tools. Exposure to DevOps/DataOps and agile methodologies. Familiarity with metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data glossary creation is a plus. 🌟 Preferred Attributes: Excellent stakeholder communication and solution presentation skills.
