Role description
Qualifications Experience β€’ 6+ years of experience as a Data Modeler or Data Architect, preferably in the insurance industry. β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Erwin Data Modeler (or equivalent data modeling tools). β€’ Proven expertise in modeling insurance data entities such as Policy, Customer, Premiums, Claims, Payments, Underwriting, Reinsurance, and Agents/Brokers. β€’ Experience working with data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Skills β€’ Strong knowledge of insurance domain data flows and regulatory needs. β€’ Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical modeling. β€’ Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation. β€’ Familiarity with insurance standards (e.g., ACORD, ISO) is a plus. β€’ Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and lineage tracking. Education β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Preferred Certifications (not mandatory) β€’ Erwin Data Modeler Certification. β€’ Insurance certifications (e.g., AINS, CPCU) are highly desirable. β€’ Data management certifications (e.g., CDMP).
