

Data Modeler
Job Title: Data Modeler - HealthCare domain
Location: Remote
Note: Must have experience with Informatica, ETL, Powercenter, ERWIN
• Must have HealthCare Domain
• This is a hands on Technical Data Modeler/Engineer role (Overall IT 9+ years)
• Good understanding of Data flows
• Good logical/physical Data Modeling skills
• Good client facing skills-technical lead
• Experience in Data Marts, Cube development, data architecture
Job Description:
Key Skills & Abilities
• Designs a secure, efficient, and adaptable physical data models.
• Provides specific program/project subject matter expertise.
• Experience working with scrum masters and product\service owners to identify nonfunctional requirements as it relates to physical data modeling and S2T mappings
• Strong collaboration skills between peers, enterprise information architects, domain architects and scrum team members including ETL developers, Quality analysts both on\off shore.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with a high degree of comfort on technical content.
• Contributes to the execution of data delivery project and programs
• Expected to follow architectural best practices and standards set forth by Enterprise Information Architect(s)
• Contributes to the realization of the Future Reference Architecture
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
• Responsible for working with Subject Area Data Architects to convert Logical data models into Physical Data Models
• Generate DDL
• Create\modify new database roles if needed
• Creates\modify views
• Modify DAD and DFDs for subject areas effected by a program\project
• Works with BAs and Business SMEs on program/projects to understand requirements and identify non-functional requirements that will impact the data design
• Actively engaged as core member of scrum teams to deliver on data programs\projects
• Creates Source to Target documents for ETL developers
• Works with ETL developers to ensure an efficient design
• Works with ETL and QA to ensure all requirements are met by the solution
• Works with DBAs to tune performance
