Data Modeller - 6 months - Contract - Remote Rate: £650 per day Duration: 6 months IR35: Inside The role: A leading Government institution is seeking a Senior Data Modeller, as part of a wider Data Programme. This 6-month contract (Inside IR35) requires a highly experienced professional to help design and implement robust data models for an enterprise data warehouse. Essential Skills: • Proven experience designing physical models in enterprise data warehouse environments. • Proficient with data modelling tools and SQL. • Deep understanding of Kimball methodology. • Hands-on experience with Talend Data Studio and Tableau. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Agile delivery experience. Key Responsibilities: • Engage with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications. • Design and build dimensional data models aligned with Kimball methodology, ensuring scalability and performance. • Analyse existing data to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and quality issues. • Create and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including mappings, dictionaries, and lineage. • Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to implement data warehouse solutions following best practices. • Support data integration, migration, and user acceptance testing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
