Role description
Responsibilities A client with Kforce is seeking a Data Navigator to join their team onsite in Deer Brown, WI. Summary: As part of the central payments engine in a hub and spoke architecture, Data Navigator is a dynamic product that supports banks, processors, issuers, acquirers, and retail lines of business globally to obtain a real-time enterprise-wide view of all transactions and consumer interactions flowing through the system. This endless stream of information must be stored, aggregated, and analyzed. The Data Navigator optimizes the Transaction Research, Exception Management, ATM Management, Settlement and Reporting functions in one central location. The team will be managing the work for Data Navigator applications. Operating within a collaborative SAFe environment, we strive to deliver effective solutions for our customers using our evolving payment platform. We are looking for a proactive team, players who would like to work in the Fintech sector, with like-minded individuals that want to develop robust and scalable applications for the growing market. Duties: β€’ Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products β€’ Interacts with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications β€’ Participates in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements β€’ Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements β€’ Writes code, completes development tasks for various projects and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies β€’ Opportunity to involve in modernization of application with cloud technologies β€’ Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance β€’ Trains and communicates with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams on systems application Requirements β€’ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience β€’ 3-5 years of IT experience with programming languages on C/C++, UNIX, Oracle β€’ Experience with SAFe/Agile Methodology β€’ Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles β€’ Strong design and programming knowledge using either C/C++ on Unix/Linux environment β€’ Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL such as Oracle and DB2 β€’ Knowledge and awareness in PCI/PADSS standards β€’ Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external customers β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) β€’ Excellent problem-solving, team, and time management skills β€’ General business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills β€’ Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills β€’ Build tool: Bit Bucket, GIT, etc. β€’ Organizational and time management skills required (ability to juggle multiple priorities at a time) β€’ Python, Java β€’ Experience in the banking or financial services industry is an advantage The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
