Data Platform Administrator Atlanta, GA (Hybrid/On-site) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Administrator / Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide data platforms and analytics initiatives across a large, complex organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving data-related issues, supporting end users, and ensuring the smooth operation of business intelligence tools and data systems. As a liaison between data scientists, analysts, and business users, you will manage and maintain data environments, resolve , and promote data literacy across the organization. You’ll work with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and ThoughtSpot to ensure data is accessible, accurate, and actionable. Key Responsibilities · Serve as the primary point of contact for end users with questions or issues related to enterprise data platforms. · Monitor and resolve Tier 1–3 data platform issues, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and availability. · Administer and maintain data visualization environments, including user access, data source connections, and performance tuning. · Collaborate with business units to gather reporting requirements, define KPIs, and support self-service analytics. · Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and ThoughtSpot. · Conduct data grooming, validation, and exploration to support business reporting and decision-making. · Provide training and support to end users and analysts on data tools, governance, and best practices. · Assist in documenting data definitions, metadata, and platform usage guidelines. Required Qualifications · Proven experience in data administration, engineering, analytics, or platform support within a large enterprise. · Strong problem-solving skills and a self-starter mindset with attention to detail. · Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages like Python for data validation and automation. · Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, and Oracle. · Solid understanding of data architecture, including data lakes, warehouses, and marts. · Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and train non-technical users. Preferred Qualifications · Experience supporting multiple business domains (e.g., finance, operations, marketing). · Familiarity with enterprise data governance, metadata management, and access control. · Exposure to agile environments and cross-functional collaboration. · Background in telecommunications or other consumer-facing industries is a plus.
