Data Privacy Analyst (Seattle, WA)
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend year over year)
Pay: Depends on Experience (W2)
Hybrid in Seattle (1 day onsite, rest of the week remote)

As a Business Focused Senior Privacy Analyst you will get the opportunity to be part of a Data Privacy team that is expanding its services globally and addressing privacy requirements in multiple international locations. The Data Privacy team is part of the Information Technology Services organization and works with all business units. Our client is looking for folks that are customer service oriented and collaborative.
This is a high impact, visible role during a period of strategic international growth for our client. There are substantial opportunities for learning, professional growth, and networking in this position.
Day in The Life:
• Engage with and gather data from business units to develop and maintain a data processing inventory.
• Provide privacy threshold assessment recommendations
• Conduct data protection impact assessments and/or privacy impact assessments.
• Develop training and awareness events with clear learning objectives and outcomes with other stakeholders
• Execute contract and data processing agreement reviews and escalate risk to data privacy leadership consistent with SOP and knowledgebase.
• Manage internal inquiries and requests and provide timely privacy advice for projects and various initiatives based on Data Privacy's knowledgebase.
• Manage external inquiries and complaints, and fulfill data subject requests based on internal knowledge base.
• Assist with implementing privacy practices associated with privacy policies and standards.
• Assist with developing and maintaining internal privacy communications, newsletters, reports and website content.
Who You Are:
• Has executionary experience in the data privacy industry
• Bachelors degree and 3 to 5 years experiences in the privacy field.
• Has an IAPP or an ISACA certification.
• Experience working with legal counsel and implementing APAC privacy laws and regulations and EU GDPR.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Ability to self-organize, manage work, and track and maintain work in Azure DevOps, privacy program management solutions, and SharePoint.
