Data Protection & AI Governance Business Partner £500/day (Umbrella) IR35: In Scope Contract: 4 months+ Location: Remote Key Requirements • CIPP/E qualification (essential). • 4–5+ years' experience in a Data Protection/Privacy role within a software or technology environment. • Strong knowledge of GDPR, DPA 2018, PECR, ISO 27701, and privacy governance frameworks. • Experience with AI governance, responsible AI principles, and AI risk assessments. • Proven ability to implement governance frameworks and drive compliance adoption. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and advisory skills. Desirable • CIPM, CIPT, or AI/ML governance qualifications. • ISO/NIST AI governance training. • Experience with advanced AI governance, automated decision-making (ADM), profiling safeguards, supplier due diligence, and complex risk assessments. Responsibilities • Provide expert advice on data protection, privacy, and AI governance requirements. • Lead DPIAs, LIAs, AI impact assessments, and risk reviews, recommending appropriate mitigations. • Conduct supplier due diligence for privacy and AI-related controls. • Support and improve governance frameworks, policies, and compliance processes. • Maintain Article 30 records and related documentation. • Partner with business stakeholders to ensure compliant and responsible use of data and AI. • Support wider compliance initiatives as required.
