Description:
β’ Client (CLIENT) Technology team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as a Cybersecurity Data Loss Protection, Senior Analyst
β’ The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data.
β’ The role involves deploying and maintaining DLP technology, developing security policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
β’ Analyze data loss prevention alerts and incidents and respond immediately to data protection alerts.
β’ Collaborate with the security team and global stakeholders on new or emerging cyber threats to implement policies focused on mitigation.
β’ Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
β’ Support DLP engineers with testing, evaluation, and scoring of new technologies
β’ Identify and improve processes through automation and defined measurements for ongoing program maturity
β’ Support Incident Response activities as needed.
β’ Maintain an active awareness of cyber threats, countermeasure technologies, and industry trends
β’ Develop, maintain, and standardize data protection response documentation following internal and industry best practices.
Requirements:
β’ At least 3-5 years of experience in Data Security Monitoring and Response
β’ Proficient in responding to alerts from DLP technologies (i.e. eDLP, Email DLP, Cloud DLP, etc.)
β’ Experience with developing and implementing more than one DLP Technology (i.e. DBAM, eDLP, CASB/SASE, Email DLP, etc.)
β’ Familiar with tooling for Microsoft Purview, Crowdstrike, Trellix, ProofPoint and other applications.
β’ Experience with data security tools, techniques and procedures.
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and recommend effective solutions
β’ A positive attitude and a customer service-oriented mindset
β’ Strong verbal and written abilities to engage with technical and non-technical resources
β’ Highly organized and detail oriented
β’ Self-motivated personality who can work independently and in team settings with minimal direction or guidance.
β’ Data Security experience in a regulated environment and interacting with Audit, Compliance and Governance entities
Preferred Skills:
β’ Cyber Security relevant certifications including CISSP, CDPSE, CIPP, or similar
β’ Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.
β’ Cloud Security, Container management and deployment (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
β’ Degree focused on Cyber Security, Top secret or Government clearance
