Data Quality Annotator (Hindi and Italian)

Our client is seeking a Data Quality Annotator to join their growing Data Quality Team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining high-quality datasets used to train and evaluate machine learning systems. The successful candidate will perform in-house annotation tasks and support quality assurance activities for outsourced projects, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established standards. Annotation projects may include image classification, segmentation (polygon-based and Photoshop matting), drawing bounding boxes around areas of interest, and providing subjective feedback on visual assets. Quality assurance activities include reviewing partner-delivered annotations and ranking them based on defined scoring guidelines. Key Responsibilities • Annotate, categorize, and validate data (including text and image-based content) in accordance with detailed project guidelines • Perform quality assurance checks on internal and external annotation work and provide structured feedback on trends and quality gaps • Understand annotation objectives through documentation, training, and supporting examples • Execute repetitive annotation tasks with high accuracy, speed, and consistency • Identify and assess visual differences between images • Meet productivity, quality, and delivery standards in a deadline-driven environment Language • Strong fluency (reading, writing, and speaking) in Hindi and Italian Required Skills & Experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Native-level fluency in one of the following: English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, or Arabic • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment • Advanced proficiency in macOS, iOS, and iPadOS (Numbers, Pages, Keynote) • Experience working on macOS 10.14 or later • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in asking clarifying questions • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Comfortable navigating digital systems and tools • Consistently meets or exceeds performance targets
