Data Quality/Governance Lead | 3 Month Initial Contract 📍 Leeds, Hybrid (1 day/week onsite) 💷 Circa £480/day 🏦 Leading UK financial services organisation modernising their data estate on Microsoft Fabric ⏳ 3 months initally (extensions likely) We're hiring a Data Quality/Governance Lead to own data quality rules and critical data element governance, driving trusted, well governed data through Microsoft Purview for a leading UK financial services organisation modernising its data estate on Microsoft Fabric. What you'll do • Define and own data quality rules, profiling and monitoring for critical data elements (CDEs) • Drive governance through Microsoft Purview across data catalog, lineage, glossary and classification • Own business glossary and metadata documentation end to end • Perform root cause analysis and data cleansing to resolve data quality issues • Ensure trusted data across Microsoft Fabric Bronze, Silver and Gold layers What you'll need • Hands on Microsoft Purview experience (data catalog, lineage, glossary, classification) • Strong data quality management and DQ framework experience • Data profiling, cleansing and root cause analysis • SQL and data analysis skills • Metadata management and CDE ownership • Data governance and stewardship experience Nice to have: Microsoft Fabric data engineering, data modelling/lakehouse architecture, data migration/modernisation, MDM exposure, or regulatory and compliance awareness.
