Job Description
This position is for a Reporting and Advanced Analytics developer with a focus on Supply Chain and Finance projects and a potential for engagements with other business units.
General Summary Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional areas, including but not limited to finance, human resources, manufacturing and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system. The responsibilities of this role include:
β’ Working under some supervision.
β’ Making decisions that are moderate in impact; errors may have relatively minor financial impact or effect on projects, operations, or customer relationships; errors may require involvement beyond immediate work group to correct.
β’ Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information that may be somewhat complex to others who may have limited knowledge of the subject in question.
β’ Most tasks require multiple steps that can be performed in various orders; some planning and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively; mistakes may result in some rework.
β’ Deductive and inductive problem solving is required; multiple approaches may be taken/necessary to solve the problem; often information is missing or incomplete; intermediate data analysis/interpretation skills may be required.
β’ Exercising creativity to draft original documents, imagery, or work products within established guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
β’ At least 3 years of experience with data visualizations tools such as Tableau, Oracle Analytics Cloud or Power BI.
β’ Experience in Statistical knowledge to support Advanced Analytics and complex visualizations desirable.
β’ Hands on experience with Python Programming Language.
β’ At least 3 years of experience with Data Warehouse Design and Development using Cloud technologies like AWS Redshift and relational database like Oracle SQL and PL/SQL stored procedure.
β’ Preferred experience working within the AWS environment.
β’ Familiarity with different format of data files (Parquet files, JSON, Semi-Structure) and moving & managing files in Amazon S3 layer.
β’ Process data into Amazon Redshift using Glue and Lambda.
β’ Automate repetitive tasks within the data pipeline using Python/glue/Informatica.
β’ Some experience with scheduling jobs using tools like Control-M (BMC Software).
β’ Experience in Oracle ERP Applications, Supply Chain Modules, Financial modules, Order2Cash and Source2Pay modules a plus.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
β’ Unit tests own code to verify stability and functionality
β’ Communicates with project lead via email and direct conversation to make recommendations about overcoming impending obstacles.
β’ Gathers, integrates, and interprets information from a variety of sources in order to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
β’ Resolves standard software issues and bugs.
β’ Adapts to significant changes and setbacks in order to manage pressure and meet deadlines independently.
β’ Participates in code reviews on project team's submitted solutions.
β’ Writes code for small features or minor bug fixes to support collaboration with other engineers.
β’ Anticipates complex issues and discusses within and outside of project team to maintain open communication.
β’ Manages individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
β’ Collaborates with other Analysts to complete assigned coding tasks to specifications without significant errors or bugs.
β’ Determines which work tasks are most important for self and junior personnel, manages distractions, and independently deals with setbacks in a timely manner.
β’ Executes against current technology roadmap.
