Data Science Analyst

Data Science Analyst Miami, FL (4 days onsite/1 day remote) 6-month CTH Position Summary As a Data Science Analyst, you are responsible for building models, analyzing data, and translating insights into business decisions, while also contributing to reporting and data pipeline work. This is not an entry-level role, candidates must bring hands-on experience applying predictive analytics in a business setting. What You’ll Do • Build and support forecasting and predictive models impacting pricing and revenue decisions • Query and manipulate large datasets using SQL • Develop reporting and analytical tools used by revenue and finance teams • Perform ad hoc analysis and identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities • Validate data and ensure accuracy before delivering insights • Translate analytical outputs into clear business recommendations • Partner with stakeholders to understand problems and propose solutions What We’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables): • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or operations research • Strong SQL skills (must be able to write and interpret complex queries) • Experience with predictive modeling (regression, forecasting, etc.) Proven ability to: • Tell a story with data • Translate analysis into business impact • Validate and sanity-check outputs before delivery Nice to Have: • Python, R, or SAS • Experience with ETL or data pipelines • BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) • Experience in Cloud environments Disclaimer: Brooksource, Medasource, and Calculated Hire are part of the Eight Eleven Group family of companies and operate under Eight Eleven Group, LLC.
