Role description
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Data Science Manager with deep expertise in Generative AI and Palantir Foundry/ AIP to lead our AI initiatives. In this role, you will architect and operationalize enterprise-grade GenAI solutions using Palantirβs platform, including LLM-based applications, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and model fine-tuning workflows. You will guide a team of data scientists and engineers while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful AI products that transform business processes across Foundry environments.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ 10+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning, including 3+ years leading teams and hands-on work in LLMs / Generative AI within enterprise platforms like Palantir.
β’ Proven track record of delivering AI solutions, from concept to production, including ontology design, pipeline orchestration, and Workshop deployment.
β’ Strong expertise in Python and ML/AI frameworks (Transformers, LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face), with experience integrating them into Foundry Code Workbooks and AIP logic functions.
β’ Experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Mistral, LLaMA) and GenAI ecosystems (LangChain, LlamaIndex, PromptFlow).
β’ Knowledge of embedding models, semantic search, and vector databases, with experience integrating them into Ontology.
β’ Familiarity with MLOps practices, especially in hybrid cloud deployments involving Palantir.
β’ Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences, especially in Foundry governance and data stewardship forums.
