Data Science Specialist

We are seeking an experienced "Senior Data Scientist" with deep expertise in machine learning and large-scale data systems. This role requires strong technical proficiency, experience handling high-volume datasets, and domain knowledge in payment processing and financial systems. • In-person interview is required. • This is 100% onsite position. • Due to the nature of the project, we require Visa independent candidates only. Required skills & experience: • More than 7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia. • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Proven experience building and scaling ML models on Amazon SageMaker, particularly with large-scale datasets (100M–300M+ records). • Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Ray or Dask. • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. • Experience working with payment processing systems, including debit/credit cards, e-payments, and ACH networks. • Knowledge of payment routing optimization and payload optimization techniques. • Experience working within the banking or financial services industry, or with financial datasets. • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards such as PCI-DSS.
