Data Science Specialist

Position: Data Science Expert – AI Research Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $60–$100/hour (based on experience) Location: Remote Duration: 5–6 weeks initially (with potential for extension) Commitment: Part-time (~10–20 hrs/week, flexible) Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided) • Evaluate AI-generated data analysis for quality, accuracy, and relevance. • Conduct statistical analysis and modelling for both specific and open-ended prompts. • Design prompts and create detailed rubrics for reward modelling and evaluation. • Produce gold-standard responses, including data visualisations, explanatory notes, and executable Python code. • Translate data science reasoning, decision-making, and expertise into gradable criteria for AI agents. Requirements • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or equivalent, OR 2+ years of relevant industry experience. • Proficiency in Python data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn). • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical modelling, and machine learning principles. • Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex datasets and communicate insights clearly. • Excellent analytical and data-driven writing skills.
