Position: Senior Ranking Data Scientist
Type: W2 | Contingent Role
Compensation: $15.2K–$20.8K per month
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
• Apply statistics, machine learning, programming, and advanced mathematics to analyze complex high-dimensional datasets and identify opportunities for product improvements.
• Design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms to extract value from large-scale datasets.
• Leverage computer vision, feature extraction, and machine learning algorithms to identify key factors driving content shareability on social media platforms.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to generate insights and guide machine learning model improvements.
• Generate hypotheses, run experiments, and analyze product experiment results.
• Collaborate with product engineers to translate prototypes into scalable product features and services.
• Provide Business Intelligence (BI) and data visualization support for dashboards and ad-hoc analysis requests.
• Investigate metric movements for recommendation systems and ranking products.
• Prepare weekly leadership reports and communicate experiment outcomes and insights.
• Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from team members and leadership.
• Identify target user segments to inform product strategy and decision-making.
Requirements
• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
• Strong professional experience in analytics or data science.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience building machine learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience training or deploying computer vision models.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
