Job Title: Data Scientist Location: Charlotte, NC Work Arrangement: Hybrid Client Industry: Banking Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion) About the Role: We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical expertise and experience in financial services or large enterprise environments. You will play a critical role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, applying AI/ML techniques, and empowering business leaders to make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Research and analyze business operations, services, and product performance. • Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends and actionable insights. • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. • Present findings in a clear and compelling way to non-technical stakeholders. • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance. • Contribute to data-driven strategy and planning initiatives across the organization. • Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to solve business problems and improve predictive accuracy. What We’re Looking For: • 5-8 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar analytical role. • Prior Financial Services or Large Enterprise experience. • Hands-on experience with AI/ML models, algorithms, and frameworks. • Strong skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent). • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R). • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Compensation: Hourly Rate: $65 - $70 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
