We are seeking a Data Scientist, specifically within the Charging & Energy Services Analytics Product Line. This team develops innovative, cloud-native data, AI, and analytics solutions. We provide data, AI/ML, and advanced analytics solutions to internal partners and co-develop external applications to help improve our EV customer's public charging experience and provide strategic and engineering support to customers. As a Data Scientist, you'll be a key player in driving this success.
Responsibilities
β’ Acquire deep understanding of the business problems and translate them into appropriate business solutions
β’ Design, develop, and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
β’ Ingest, transform, and analyze large datasets to support the team in launching data products in the Data Factory on Google CloudPlatform (GCP).
β’ Act as a full-stack data scientist to develop and deliver advanced analytics models, including classification, anomaly detection, optimization, LLM, and more.
β’ Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python for data manipulation, feature engineering, and model development.
β’ Collaborate internally and externally to identify new and novel data sources and explore their potential use in developing actionable business results
β’ Examine, interpret and report analytical results in both written reports and in oral presentations to varied audiences.

β’ 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, with proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
β’ 2+ years of experience in Google cloud platform with solutions designed and implemented at production scale
β’ 2+ Experience working with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines
β’ Expertise in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and database interaction.
β’ Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.
β’ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience Preferred
β’ Experience working with Terraform to provision Infrastructure as Code
β’ Experience in electrification and/or transportation domain.
β’ Experience in forecasting algorithms, anomaly detection algorithms, optimization models
β’ Experience in Generative AI, including a strong understanding of ML frameworks, algorithms, and practical implementation.
β’ Experience in specialized areas such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), or recommendation systems.
β’ A record of publications or presentations in recognized journals or conferences.
β’ Inquisitive, proactive, and interested in learning new tools and techniques
β’ Comfortable working in a fast-paced and innovative environment where problems are not always well-defined
