Role description
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Piscataway, New Jersey. This role focuses on developing advanced intelligent systems that leverage large language models, multi-agent architectures, and multimodal technologies. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in creating robust AI solutions that enable seamless interactions between users and complex data systems while ensuring accuracy and transparency.
Responsibilities:
β’ Design and implement cutting-edge AI systems using large language models and multi-agent architectures.
β’ Develop multimodal solutions that integrate text, vision, and other data formats to enhance system capabilities.
β’ Build and deploy production-grade AI systems with a focus on scalability and reliability.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize retrieval-augmented generation models.
β’ Ensure the precision and transparency of AI systems through advanced methodologies.
β’ Utilize Python and modern machine learning frameworks to create innovative solutions.
β’ Conduct research and apply explainable AI techniques to improve user understanding of system outputs.
β’ Implement and test human-in-the-loop processes to refine AI system performance.
β’ Leverage agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or n8n to streamline operations.
Requirements:
β’ Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Masterβs) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, AI systems engineering, or related domains.
β’ Expertise in large language models and distributed AI systems.
β’ Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with modern machine learning frameworks.
β’ Practical experience with retrieval-augmented generation models.
β’ Knowledge of multimodal AI systems combining vision and language.
β’ Familiarity with agent orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or n8n.
β’ Background in search, recommendation systems, or knowledge systems development.
