Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years relevant experience
• Defining requirements for open-source data analytics, data workflows, and database tools.
• Building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Working with multiple types of datasets and database technologies (cloud & on-premise).
• Data exploration, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Linux operating systems.
• Open-source containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to define internal process improvements to automate tasks and minimize downtime.
• Clearance requirements:
• Must have Secret clearance to start.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
• Investigate, select, and implement open-source tools for handling very large datasets.
• Build and maintain data storage, pipelines, and workflows for the DoD customer.
• Conduct data exploration, analysis, and feature extraction.
• Design data models for complex analysis needs.
• Work with vendors to ensure their solutions meet customer requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical capabilities.
• Present status reports to stakeholders.
• Configure and manage Linux systems for large-scale data analytics.
• Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve on-premises environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support the DoD mission.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
