Role description
🟢 Marketing Data Scientist (Contract | Hybrid – Redmond) We are hiring a Marketing Data Scientist to measure what actually drives player acquisition, reactivation, and long-term value across marketing channels. This role will own campaign post-mortems, attribution modeling, and marketing funnel analysis—connecting upstream spend and impressions to downstream engagement and monetization outcomes. You will partner with Growth Marketing and Finance to inform budget decisions and build measurement frameworks that scale marketing effectiveness. 🔍 Key Responsibilities • Work with senior management, technical and client teams to determine data requirements and business data implementation approaches • Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes • Build segmentation and KPI foundations for performance marketing • Drive post-mortem analyses for campaigns and create measurement plans • Partner with marketing, business, and finance teams on campaign performance ✅ Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field • 8–10 years of applicable experience • Experience with database technologies and ETL processes • Strong SQL and Python skills • Strong written and oral communication skills • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated history of success in data-driven decision making ⭐ Must-Have Skills • Marketing analytics • Attribution modeling / campaign analysis • SQL / Python • Databricks (preferred) 🚫 Important Notes • No C2C • No H1B sponsorship • Must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders regularly • Must be able to work onsite 3 days/week (Hybrid – Redmond) 💡 Ideal Background • Direct experience with digital marketing for consumer products • Experience influencing stakeholder decisions using data • Strong understanding of campaign performance, ROAS, and funnel metrics
