Job Title: Data Scientist Pay rate: $74 per hour Duration: 6 months W2 contract only (No C2C) Location- Remote- CST business hours (Do have onsite locations if candidates prefer to come into an office) Overview: Project is an advance search AI enabled chatbot using a large language model. Need users to identify tables that are associated with their existing reports and data products and have table become searchable with AI chatbot. Have a proof of concept but there is work needed with operationalizing and productionalize. Need someone who can independently drive the project with occasional help from Eli but this person with drive the project forward. Key Skills: Need strong python programmer, familiar with working with LLMs not just prompting but also retrieval augment regeneration and working with vector. Someone who has clear programming application development experience. Understanding of validating machine learning AI applications to test how well the application is working. Top Skills: Strong Python programming experience, General software engineering best practices, experience with LLM, SQL experience (Sql based project), benchmarking data science. Comfortable with Pandas (data frame manipulation library). Nice to have: LangChain Application is built on top of LanGraph so familiarity is nice but not complicated lang. Familiarity working with and developing simple APIs: requests library, fastapi. Day to Day: Hands on keyboard coding, 70% (Python/SQL). Remaining time working with Lauren or Eli or team to make sure they are getting all the requirements to understand how the changes and project direction. Providing feedback and attending meetings (Daily stand ups – Agile style) communicate what they have achieved on day to day and any issues.
