Join a leading firm in the healthcare industry as a Senior Data Scientist on a high-functioning Data Science team. This pivotal role will primarily focus on developing innovative AI and Machine Learning solutions, specifically centered around generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP). You will be instrumental in converting manual processes into automated, natural language-based systems, such as generating plain language responses from structured data for chat features. β’ Act as a primary resource on a new project focused on converting manual processes to automated natural language solutions.
β’ Design and build solutions particularly involving the conversion of unstructured data into a structured format for AI processing.
β’ Develop and implement natural language components, including semantic parsing, code-to-text generation, transformation, and text summarization.
β’ Integrate AI solutions using API integration.
β’ Contribute to current data science projects and quickly get up to speed on existing initiatives.
β’ Explain complex AI concepts and processes clearly to technically savvy but non-AI specialized audiences.
β’ Collaborate with engineers and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Minimum of 6+ years of overall experience in data science.
β’ At least 2-3 years of direct experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
β’ Strong blend of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), AI, and Machine Learning.
β’ Proficiency with SQL scripts, data modeling, and relational database structures.
β’ Experience with indexing data, including preparing unstructured data for AI processes.
β’ Familiarity with various Large Language Models (LLMs) in the marketplace (e.g., Llama, Claude, GPT) and understanding their differences and applications.
β’ Experience with AI prompt engineering.
β’ Proficiency in Python scripting, particularly within machine learning and language processing contexts.
β’ Experience with API integration.
β’ Demonstrated ability to translate complex AI concepts into understandable language for a technically savvy but not AI-savvy audience.
