Role description
Client: Walmart Lab.
Title: Data Scientist
Location: Remote
Duration: Long term contract (12+ Months Contract).
Visa: USC, GC, GC EAD, H4 EAD, H1B.
Chinese/Asian candidates Only
Notes
• This is a highly technical, hands-on modeling role. We're looking for someone who enjoys building statistical models from first principles (Bayesian Modeling, MCMC, Probabilistic Modeling, Python), rather than primarily applying existing MMM packages or AutoML solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Recent PhD or postdoctoral candidates (or within approximately 2 years of marketing experience) with exceptionally strong coding and statistical modeling skills, particularly in Bayesian modeling, who are interested in applying those skills to marketing measurement.
• Experienced industry Data Scientists (roughly 3-5 years of experience), preferably with backgrounds in Marketing Measurement, Marketing Science, MMM, Causal Inference, Econometrics, or Time Series Modeling. Candidates located outside the highest cost-of-living markets are likely to be a better fit for this budget.
