Job Title: Data Scientist Associate
Location: Thousand Oaks, California (Hybrid)
Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Scientist Associate to support artificial intelligence and data analytics initiatives through machine learning model development, implementation, and deployment. Our team is looking for someone who can collaborate with stakeholders, work across functions, and help deliver practical, data-driven solutions that support key business needs.
Responsibilities
• Build machine learning models by integrating multiple data sources.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts and stakeholders to deliver value through data-driven solutions.
• Support implementation and deployment efforts for machine learning and AI-based algorithms.
• Debug runtime failures, stalled streams, retries, and state issues while working with AI agents, runtime tools, and orchestration workflows.
Required
• Experience with Databricks, including SQL Warehouse, Delta Tables, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
• Ability to debug runtime failures, stalled streams, retries, and state issues.
• Comfort working with AI agents, runtime tools, and orchestration workflows.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages, along with Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience working with large datasets and machine learning algorithms.
• Bachelor degree, or Associate degree plus 4 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED plus 6 years of experience.
