Denver, CO and Tampa, FL
Hybrid Role
Pay Range : $70-80/hr (Buffer for best talent as well)
Overview
The Principal Data Scientist supports development of advanced decision support systems by employing advanced techniques from data analytics (including statistical analysis) and machine learning, particularly including NLP.
Required Skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, including NLP (with more focus on Gen AI than traditional ML)
• Knowledge of statistics, including hypothesis testing
• Strong Python skills
• Proficient in SQL
• Comfortable with Unix scripting
Experience Requirements
• 3+ years of real-world Data Science experience (current and hands-on)
• 5+ years of Machine Learning experience
• Strong experience in Python and SQL
• Experience with NLP is essential
• Experience working on Gen AI-focused projects (more emphasis than traditional ML)
