Data Scientist - ESG

An exciting opportunity has arisen to be at the heart of the fast-paced integration of ESG data at one of Europe’s largest investment managers This multi-faceted role will involve working with stakeholders across the business to analyse complex datasets, prototype new ESG metrics, ensure their correct implementation, improve data quality and build sophisticated self-service tools in line with our vision to be a trusted provider of high-quality, flexible and innovative data solutions Key Skills:- • Very strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. • Experience in using technologies such SQL, Python and Pandas to analyse huge, complex datasets, ideally using Snowflake. • Proven track record in developing and deploying robust data-driven web applications to the Cloud, ideally using Python, Git, Flask, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Excel and Docker. • Well-versed in data modelling, error handling, version control and testing. • Very good ability to communicate across business and technical stakeholders of various levels of seniority, both verbally and in writing. • Experience with modern data visualisation platforms, ideally Tableau. This is a long term consulting engagement which will pay around £400 per day PAYE and will be a 6 month rolling contract Apply today for immediate consideration
