Role description
Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics Team β€’ 100% remote – any US time zone β€’ Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week Duration: 5+ months to start; extendable role Pay Rate: $70-75 per hour W2 β€’ Overview: Drive operational efficiency, optimize campaign strategy, and enhance tooling infrastructure. This role combines tactical problem-solving with strategic influence, offering the opportunity to shape data-driven decisions that impact marketing performance at scale. β€’ Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities. Translate insights into actionable recommendations to refine targeting and budget allocation β€’ Diagnose bottlenecks in marketing workflows (e.g., reporting) and design scalable solutions (e.g., automation programs, dashboards). β€’ Build and refine tools to streamline data pipelines, reporting systems, and cross-functional collaboration (e.g., SQL, BI tools, workflow orchestration). β€’ Partner with Marketing, Engineering, and Product teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. β€’ Transform raw data into strategic narratives that inform marketing decisions and operational improvements. Requirements β€’ Background: 2+ years of experience as a data scientist β€’ Skills: strong SQL; data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker); experience with marketing data / ads / campaigns etc. β€’ Education: Bach degree required; advanced degree a plus β€’ Industry: CPG, large tech, etc.
