Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to support data-driven innovation in formulation and product development.
This role will focus on analyzing complex datasets, developing predictive models, and creating intuitive visualizations that enable scientists and cross-functional teams to make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will work closely with scientific, digital, and cross-functional teams to transform experimental and operational data into actionable insights that accelerate development and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze experimental and process data to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop predictive and statistical models to support design, selection, and performance evaluation processes.
• Design and implement data pipelines and workflows to structure and prepare laboratory and experimental data for analysis.
• Create clear and interactive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to scientific and business stakeholders.
• Partner closely with scientific, research, and digital teams to translate challenges into data science solutions.
• Support experimentation strategies by applying data-driven approaches such as design of experiments (DoE), machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Contribute to the development of digital tools and analytics capabilities that enable smarter and faster decision-making.
• Document methodologies, models, and analytical workflows to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams.
Qualifications
• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience using data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and experimental data analysis.
• Experience working with scientific or laboratory datasets is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in regulated or research-driven industries.
• Familiarity with experimental design or product development processes.
• Experience working with laboratory information systems (LIMS), digital lab platforms, or R&D data environments.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted analytics and advanced modeling techniques applied to scientific datasets.
