Remote | ?? 6-Month Contract | ?? £400/day | Inside IR35 Overview We're hiring a Data Scientist to support a high-impact NHS programme focused on bowel services. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and NHS data environments, who can deliver actionable insights to improve service performance and patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Analyse NHS service data to define and measure performance outcomes. • Develop and optimise queries using Oracle DB and PL/SQL. • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to assess service delivery. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting requirements. • Build and validate data models and visualisations to support decision-making. • Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Essential Skills • Proven experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL. • Strong background in data science, analytics, or performance analysis. • Experience working with NHS data or within NHS programmes. • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar). • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
