Data Scientist

Position: Data Scientist Duration: 6 month contract to hire Location: 2 days a week onsite in Wellesley Hills, MA or Manhattan, NYC, New York Pay Rate: $40-50/hr REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required Qualifications • 3+ year of coding experience (Preferably Python) • 3+ years of experience in backend systems (FastAPI experience is a plus) • Proven track record of building and deploying GenAI solutions (e.g., RAG pipelines, agent-based systems) • Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar • Experience working in cloud environments such as GCP, Azure, or AWS • Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills in agile settings • Ability to work consultatively with junior stakeholders, clarify needs, and communicate technical concepts effectively NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with healthcare (PBM / insurance) domains • Familiarity with B2B sales process • Experience integrating GenAI solutions into enterprise workflows • Exposure to MLOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Docker, etc.) JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Data Scientist to join our team and lead the development of series of customized GenAI solutions. This role will focus on building scalable, production-grade systems using Python and modern frameworks, with a strong emphasis on generative AI applications such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and intelligent agents. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, agile environment and be comfortable working consultatively with stakeholders to clarify requirements and present results. Compensation: $40-50/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
