Data Scientist - II (Associate)

Note: Pay: $68.12 Duration:1 year Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 months from the hire date. A hybrid work model (on-site/off-site) can be accommodated. Work Location: Rahway, NJ Minimum Requirements: • Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in science or related areas of study; will also consider Master's or PhD degree. • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required. Functional Expertise: • Capable of analyzing large datasets and identifying quality events within these large datasets. • General scientific background: biomarker experience will be shown preference. • Capable of working independently. • Identifies and resolves technical and operational problems. • Collaborates with key stakeholder to review and resolve quality events. • Administers decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans and seeking guidance from leadership; when appropriate. Must haves: • Life sciences degree • NGS/genomics/biomarkers data sets • Large data sets experience • Quality assurance of large data sets • Working with different partners to understand the large data sets. • Software: Excel skills; advance excel skills preferred. #ZIP
