Role description
The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Data Scientist III”.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deploy predictive models for HCP targeting, patient adherence, and commercial forecasting.
• Build Next Best Action (NBA) frameworks and Patient 360 models using patient-level, CRM, and specialty pharmacy data.
• Develop and maintain Marketing Mix Models (MMM) and budget optimization tools to measure ROI and guide multi-channel investments.
• Apply machine learning, NLP, and generative AI (LLMs) to analyze structured and unstructured datasets.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, geo-lift studies, and attribution frameworks to measure campaign performance.
• Integrate data from APLD, PlanTrak, EMR/EHR, CRM, and syndicated sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony) in a compliance-driven environment.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in data science, preferably in pharma or healthcare.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL and platforms such as Snowflake.
• Experience with MMM, predictive modeling, and digital ROI analysis.
• Familiarity with pharma commercial datasets (e.g., claims, APLD, PlanTrak, CRM).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred:
• Experience applying generative AI and NLP in commercial analytics.
• Knowledge of omnichannel strategy, patient journey analytics, and launch planning.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Additional Information:
• Location: Cambridge, MA
• Assignment Duration: 6 months
• Pay range: $65-$75/hr. on W2
