REMOTE ROLE no expectation of onsite work W2 Candidates only Description • Seeking a Senior Data Scientist (yellow band) with a strong business and product development mindset, an exceptional track record in data science, and some experience with multimodal LLMs and multifunction agents. • Will work on applying state-of-the-art generative AI to an internal product. • Will be part of a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, designers, and product managers working on a high-priority initiative. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, we aim to revolutionize how we conduct and synthesize knowledge research, enabling the company to deliver impactful stories effortlessly. • Will work hands-on with the latest multimodal LLMs, conducting experiments and deploying production pipelines that utilize generative models (such as GPT-like models) for automating knowledge search, curation, and synthesis processes. This includes model training, fine-tuning, evaluation, and iteration, enhancing creativity and content generation.Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, designers, and project managers on interdisciplinary projects. Utilize mathematics, statistics, machine learning, and generative AI to extract structure and insights from raw data across diverse industry sectors. Skills • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field. • 3 years of experience in AI or Machine Learning • Deep theoretical and practical knowledge of NLP, Transformers, LLMs, and Generative AI • OpenAI’s GPT suite, including previous experience with their multimodal LLMs: GPT4V, GPT4o is a must have skill. • Python - Scikit-Learn is a necessity, ideally experience with deep learning PyTorch or TensorFlow • Theoretical understanding of how LLMs can be leveraged to build classification models, re-rankers, and recommendation systems • Well-versed with building end-to-end data models and pipelines in Python according to the best engineering practices • Experience managing a Git repository - maintaining effective version control with organized & clean branching strategies Nice To Have Skills • Experience with conversational agents • Understanding of Semantic Search, specifically with Transformers, and familiarity with the relevant Python Libraries (e.g., SentenceTransformers, BERT) • Experience with product development and working in software engineering • Agile teams Who We Are: The Fountain Group is a nationwide staffing firm with over 80 Fortune 100-500 clients.
