Role description
The Data Scientist III will support personnel security operations by leveraging data analysis and statistical modeling to improve decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires expertise in data evaluation, predictive analytics, and research methodologies to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities in personnel security workflows.
Must possess mastery and skill in applying broad knowledge of advanced mathematics sufficient to evaluate significantly large amounts of data based upon the application of mathematical tools, models, methods and techniques.
Must possess technical expertise regarding data analysis and manipulation, data cleansing, and segmentation techniques to successfully predict trends and risks.
Must have knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets.
Must possess technical skills in advanced Excel functions (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA Automation, complex formulas, Power BI, DAX, Interactive Dashboards and reporting tools, etc.), and knowledge and ability to learn other common data scientist tools.
Must demonstrate the ability to develop and convey strategies for process optimization based on data-driven insights.
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
