Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Scientist III to join a forward-thinking and innovative team. This role is crucial in applying advanced analytics and machine learning to a range of complex business problems within the clinical research and development space. The team is dedicated to harnessing data and technology to drive decision-making and create fit-for-purpose solutions. You will be a key player in enabling data-driven insights to support the end-to-end clinical trial process. This is a 100% remote role that allows you to contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $75.00 - 85.19 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Manage analytic needs for a set of clinical trials, providing data-driven insights to support execution. • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop analytics solutions, including deliverables for risk-based quality management (RBQM). • Lead the design and standardization of analytical work products to ensure consistency and an optimized user experience. • Develop prototypes and test methods using emerging statistical methodologies, machine learning, and AI to create innovative solutions. • Act as an analytics consultant to cross-functional teams, strategizing on how to evaluate clinical trial progress and identify emerging risks. • Ensure all work adheres to federal regulations, Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), and company standards. Qualifications Required Skills: • 3+ years of analytics experience in clinical research, with a preference for clinical data. • Advanced proficiency in R or Python. • Expert proficiency with data visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau. • Experience with data mining techniques. • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
