Experience with the GCP cloud platform and BigQuery
Experience with Oracle database

Strong investigation, collaboration and communication skills

An employer in Bentonville, AR is looking for a Data Scientist with eCommerce domain knowledge to join their team. The role is focused on developing and refining rule-based models to detect, block and prevent fraudulent activity. Youβll collaborate closely with business insights and data science teams to turn data into actionable fraud prevention strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets to validate hypotheses and uncover patterns indicative of fraudulent behavior. They must understand Google Cloud Product tools, be highly proficient in Microsoft tools including Excel, and have in-depth knowledge and skills to research data table sources and structure, create and validate queries, and possess knowledge of Python. This person will be expected to perform daily and weekly analytics reporting tasks, understand what can be automated and how, and provide insights from the data to support the Senior Manager in fraud model rules decision making.
