About the Role
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join our team for a 6-month onsite project in Miami, FL. This role is focused on leveraging data science, AI, and machine learning to enhance customer service operations and deliver actionable business insights.
You will work with large-scale datasets from customer service interactions, apply advanced ML and NLP techniques, and collaborate with IT and operations teams to drive data-powered customer engagement and retention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analyze large and complex datasets (call logs, chat transcripts, surveys, billing data) to uncover trends and service improvement areas.
β’ Develop machine learning models for predicting:
β’ Customer next best actions
β’ Service outages
β’ High-risk accounts
β’ Create recommendation systems to improve customer interactions and resolution speed.
β’ Implement AI and automation solutions, including chatbots and workflow optimizations.
β’ Apply clustering techniques for customer segmentation based on behavior and preferences.
β’ Support targeted retention and engagement initiatives with actionable data insights.
β’ Collaborate with IT and operations teams to integrate data-driven solutions into customer platforms.
Required Qualifications
β’ Must be able to work 100% onsite in Miami, FL.
β’ 3+ years of experience in data science, preferably in customer service, utilities, or related industries.
β’ Proficiency in:
β’ Python or R
β’ SQL
β’ Data Visualization: Tableau or Power BI
β’ Experience with machine learning and NLP using scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
β’ Masterβs or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
β’ Familiarity with big data tools like Spark or Hadoop.
