Role description
Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Scientist to fill an open position with a Fortune 15 company based in the greater Seattle area. This role will focus on analyzing player lifecycle marketing data within a large gaming studio, delivering insights that influence engagement, retention, and monetization strategies. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, engineering, and product teams to evaluate campaign performance, build dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations that directly impact business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze lifecycle marketing campaign performance, including A/B tests and evergreen campaigns, and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement, retention, and monetization.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting pipelines to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into campaign performance and key business metrics.
Partner with marketing, engineering, and product teams to define success metrics, measurement strategies, and data requirements for lifecycle initiatives.
Synthesize complex analyses into executive-ready presentations, narratives, and visualizations that clearly communicate insights, business impact, and recommended next steps.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, data exploration, and reporting.
3+ years of experience creating dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
5+ years of experience presenting data insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7+ years of overall experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field.
Experience analyzing marketing campaign performance, including A/B testing and lifecycle or customer analytics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills with the ability to translate data into business impact.
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments; gaming industry experience is a plus.
