Data Scientist

Data Scientist - Contract (inside IR35) - Investment Management - 6 month intial A leading investment manager are seeking a data scientist to come in and support the wider team on a number of mandates. You will ideal have experience / exposure to: • Recommendation Engines - effective suggestions based on behavioural or events data • Churn Modelling - identifying patterns in lost client business • Affinity Scoring - measuring strength of alignment in preferences, behaviours, and needs between similar individuals or organisations • Predictive Modelling - assessing the likelihood of future behaviours/needs based on past patterns of actions (including validating these models and monitoring them for drift once in production) • Commercial outcomes focus (models should be optimised with business metrics rather than academic ones in mind) • Experience with Snowflake/Databricks/Data Warehousing tools • Understanding of dbt and working closely with Data Engineering teams • Experience in regulated data environments Nice to have: • Record Linkage or Entity Resolution (people and organisation focus) • Knowledge and interest in business data and financially literate You are required in the office 3 days a week in London. if this sounds like one for you, please apply with you CV and i will be happy to give you a call to discuss in more detail.
