Role description
Requirements:
β’ No C2C or C2H.
β’ Strictly US Citizen, Greencard holder
β’ Python and SQL, statistical, testing, Google Cloud. CRM
β’ Cloud service
β’ Mainstream model algorithms - machine learning
β’ Data oriented
β’ PySPARK
Qualifications:
β’ Advanced (Master or above) degree with specialization in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or another quantitative field or equivalent.
β’ 5+ years of experience in statistical methods and machine learning within industry and research.
β’ Understanding of algorithmic complexity of model training and testing, particularly for real-time and near real-time models.
β’ Has strong knowledge of causal inference techniques, Gen AI (LLM) implementation, or reinforcement learning.
β’ Solid technical knowledge of A/B testing methodologies, experimental design, statistics and other analytical concepts.
β’ Experience implementing scalable, distributed, and highly available systems using Google Cloud.
β’ Proficient in Python and SQL
Responsibilities:
β’ Leverage data science to identify patterns as part of long term strategic assessments and recommendations
β’ Build long-range predictive models to evaluate and optimize long term goals
β’ Simulate and predict long term demand for various scenarios to assist with investment decisions
β’ Clearly display data visualization to convey a point in programs such as Tableau
β’ Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the business, and utilize it to derive exacting data science project requirements from general business problem discussions
β’ Design and code data products that implement the full scope of ingesting and updating data, building and refreshing models, scoring using those models, and then serving results on an ad-hoc and on-demand basis
β’ Help drive A/B testing for Marketing and Product teams through reporting and insight.
β’ Find growth opportunities through customer segmentation and retention analysis. Create customer cohorts through predictive modeling and CRM database marketing.
β’ Help manage prioritization in sprints and participate in daily scrums.
β’ Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Ad Sales, Strategy, and Production teams to provide BI support and data analysis.
β’ Create standardized reporting for multiple groups within the NBCED organization.
β’ Provide ad-hoc analyses, troubleshooting, and deep dives as needed.
