What You’ll Do
Join a world-class research team dedicated to developing enterprise-level AI and analytics for business communications—spanning speech and digital channels. You'll play a key role in creating and refining algorithms to help companies address challenges such as fraud prevention, agent performance, customer sentiment, and issue classification. Your work will support global organizations by delivering customized AI models suited to their industry, language, and operational needs.
Responsibilities
• Explore high-level, undefined ideas and business problems using structured and unstructured data
• Translate business objectives into actionable data science solutions
• Conduct cutting-edge research and build innovative models and algorithms
• Design and optimize deep learning models, particularly transformer-based architectures
• Analyze high-volume, high-dimensional data from diverse sources
• Guide the collection and refinement of data sources
• Improve internal tools and processes for scalability and innovation
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay current with research trends and contribute to the team’s knowledge base
Required Skills and Experience
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated research experience with modern speech recognition engines
• At least 2 years of data science experience, including work with NLP and machine learning on real-world data
• Advanced knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms
• Proficient in Python
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., PySpark)
• Proficiency in Python code optimization and package development
• Experience deploying NLP models in production environments
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and version control systems
• Knowledge of non-English languages or linguistics
• Experience working on global, distributed teams and using AWS
• Background in formal research environments
• Prior experience in a software development organization
