Responsibilities:
β’ 50/50 β solutions built and stakeholder interaction
β’ Phase II, Phase III studies primarily β across all Therapeutic Areas
β’ Enabling analytics for clinical trials from start up to close out
β’ Work directly with stakeholders β discover what data review is needed
β’ Create dashboards so data is visible throughout the trial
β’ MicroStrategy programming/visualization work

β’ Manage workload of 13-15 studies (broken out by TA)
β’ The Senior Data Scientist role is a key role to enable application of advanced analytics techniques across clinical development processes.
β’ Drives Analytics innovation and experimentation to enable data-driven insights for complex business problems across R&D by deploying advanced analytics techniques like Machine Learning and Visual Analytics.
β’ Identifies use cases that are appropriate for the application of ML and AI.
β’ Manage and execute analytic needs for a set of clinical trials based on therapeutic alignment Partner with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven insights to support the end-to-end clinical trial execution through fit-for-purpose analytics support
β’ Identify business needs on a study and support the creation of RBQM deliverables (KRIs/QTLs), data review deliverables, or study specific reports or analyses as required.
β’ Connects with cross-functional teams to design work product and as an analytics consultant. Anticipates and identifies issues that could affect timelines or quality and develops options and solutions
β’ Leads and helps establish the design principles and standards to ensure analytical work product is consistent across projects where appropriate and that user experience is optimized
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree statistics, analytics, bioinformatics, data science or equivalent field. Masterβs degree preferred
β’ Must have 3+ years of analytics-related experience in clinical research including demonstrated high-level analytics and leadership competencies.
β’ Advanced career level proficiency in R, Python or other statistical packages. Intermediate-level knowledge of statistical and data mining techniques
β’ Expert proficiency with visualization tools like Spotfire, Tableau or equivalent
β’ Demonstrated effective communication skills. Demonstrated ability to communicate analytical and technical concepts in laymanβs terms
β’ Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
β’ Demonstrated history of successful execution in a fast-paced environment and in managing multiple priorities effectively
β’ Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to navigate a matrixed work organization
